As an experienced Senior Finance Operations Specialist at the applike group you will help our organization(s) to operate efficiently by ensuring a complex, high-volume financial data flows seamlessly across systems

The Senior Finance Operations Specialist will own complex monthly closing activities in a high-volume, multi-entity environment, ensure data integrity at scale, and build solutions that eliminate recurring issues.

What you will do:

• Play a key role in the monthly financial closing process
• Own the preparation and maintenance of revenue and spend accruals
• Ensure accurate intercompany reconciliation
• Prepare and provide data for foreign entities and support fee calculations
• Execute and oversee monthly allocations and recharges
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely postings
• Act as an escalation point for complex operational finance issues
• Serve as a contact for Managing Directors and business units on operational finance topics

Who you are:

• 5+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounting, or similar roles
• Strong experience in high-volume, tech-driven environments
• Deep understanding of AP/AR, billing, reconciliation, and financial data flows
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred)
• Proven track record of process improvement and automation
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex datasets
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Fluent in German and English
