Product Manager – BESS & PCS (f/m/d)

Your Role

As Product Manager for BESS & PCS, you will take end-to-end ownership of STABL’s outdoor energy storage systems product family and our proprietary power electronics. Your mission is to shape competitive, high-quality products that solve real customer needs and support STABL’s growth. You will turn market, customer and stakeholder insights into clear product direction and work cross-functionally to continuously evolve the portfolio. You are part of the Business Innovation team and will make sure market feedback is transferred clearly into our organization and later on executed.

Your mission

• You will not just manage a roadmap - you will actively shape how next-generation energy storage systems in a highly dynamic environment. This role is ideal for someone who thinks big, loves to combine HW and SW and wants to build loved products for an scaling and also evolving productin one of the fastest-growing sectors of the energy transition.
• Gather customer and market requirements and translate them into clear product requirements and priorities.
• Ensure the technical excellence, commercial competitiveness and overall quality of the solutions.
• Act as the central interface between customers, the market, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct competitor analyses and market research to identify trends, opportunities and risks. You will work on systems deployed at commercial and industrial sites, balancing performance, cost, and safety in a fast-evolving regulatory environment.
• Prepare and present strategic decision materials and guide products & related initiatives across the full lifecycle - from concept and validation to launch and continuous improvement.

Your profile

• 7+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, ideally in cleantech, EPC, industrial technology, electronics, or a comparable B2B environment, and 3+ years in energy storage, ideally BESS.
• Strong ability to translate customer, market and business needs into clear product requirements, priorities and roadmap decisions.
• Proven experience managing product roadmaps and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders and functions.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with experience in market research, competitor analysis and product positioning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to interact with customers, partners and internal teams. Fluent in English & German
• A structured, proactive and ownership-driven working style; familiarity with B2B energy or infrastructure customers is a plus.
