Freelance E-Commerce Operations & AI Manager - Right Hand to the CBO - 25 - 30h/week

For my client, a DTC jewelry brand I'm looking for the CBO's right hand. You will take a large share of operational and admin work off her plate, keep projects moving and use AI to make the way they work faster.

What you will do

👉Operations: check stock against launches and campaigns, track our manufacturing partner (delays, open orders, quality) and keep new designs on schedule from brief to first order

👉Website & CRO: keep product pages, FAQs and prices up to date, QA before go-live, brief our developers and suggest UX and conversion improvements

👉 Marketing: coordinate with performance marketing and our newsletter agency, support influencer marketing and whitelisting, and bring ideas to our social team (creating content yourself is a plus)

👉Business: understand our product catalogue deeply – what sells and why – and help take customer service to the next level by weighing cost against value

👉Admin: run the CBO's week – agendas, notes, action items and a weekly status update

👉AI: spot recurring tasks and automate them with the best AI tools available

👉You handle follow-ups, QA, reporting and automations independently; decisions on launches, pricing and budgets stay with the CBO, and you prepare them.

The first three months focus on taking work off her plate and learning our processes; after that, automation and wider ownership follow.
Success means the CBO spends noticeably less time on operations and admin.

Must-haves

👉Around 5 years in e-commerce or DTC, ideally fashion, jewelry or beauty
👉Experience in UX and conversion rate optimisation (e.g. A/B tests, product pages, checkout)
👉Daily, hands-on use of AI tools of all kinds, and you keep up with what is new
👉Very structured, proactive and persistent in closing loops
👉Fluent English; German is a strong plus
👉Experienced freelancer, comfortable working remotely in Slack


Nice-to-haves

👉Influencer marketing or whitelisting experience
👉Shopify, Klaviyo, Gorgias, ClickUp or Modash
👉Content creation for Instagram or TikTok
👉Based in Amsterdam
