Working Student: Finance&Controlling

We are looking for a Working Student in Finance - Controlling to support our finance team with financial reconciliations and data analysis.

You will work closely with our finance team on monthly closing processes, financial data validation, and system reconciliations across our finance stack. This role offers hands-on exposure to modern finance operations in a fast-growing company.

Tasks

Finance Operations & Reconciliation

• Support monthly reconciliation across financial systems and payment platforms
• Maintain and update product and financial records within internal systems
• Validate balances and transactions across different finance tools and data sources

Data & Reporting

• Support the preparation of financial reports
• Assist with KPI calculations and internal finance reporting
• Support the finance team during monthly closing and reporting activities

Accounting Support (Optional)

• Help ensure financial transactions and invoices are accurately recorded
• Support day-to-day accounting operations and expense management processes

Project/Research Work

• Support KPI tracking and dashboards (e.g., using Metabase)
• Contribute to finance automation and process improvements e.g. Claude <> Excel

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Economics, or similar
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• High attention to detail and structured working style
• Comfortable working with Excel / Google Sheets
• Fluent in English (Spanish, Russian is a plus)

Nice to have:

• Experience with NetSuite, Stripe, or similar finance tools
• Basic understanding of accounting principlesInterest in SaaS metrics and startup finance
